Sunday was the usual Heroic Dreamrift, then Voidspire reclear. Had some problems on dragons, but got at least some tries in for Paladins, now at 14 wipes and 30% or so. Really hoping we’re just extending when we have them down.
Tuesday we killed the Vanguard on the 16th pull (30 overall or so) then looked at Crown of the Cosmos on Heroic. 6 wipes, not a lot of progress – but we’re 6/9 now.
This was the week where we got the Voidcores to upgrade our stuff by 10 levels – and we had a public holiday with bad weather on Thursday, so I got to grinding. First I upgraded my main’s weapon to 298, then (because I was lucky enough to bonus roll a Mythic 2h in my first +10) I did the same for my Brewmaster Monk, and then I also bonus rolled a Mythic 2h on my Blood DK, so that also went to 298. The Vengeance Demon Hunter already had one Mythic weapon from the Vault, and also bonus rolled a 2nd one (it starts to sound unrealistic), so 10 Voidcores later she’s dualwielding 298 weapons as well. I have now successfully tanked (and timed) a +10 (or higher) on 4 different tanks (Warrior, DH, DK, Monk) and at least tanked one +2 on my Paladin. Only the Druid missing (sitting at 250, should be enough for a low key). So the goal is definitely to tank at least a couple +10s on every tank class this season.
The gearing is kinda weird anyway this season. The moment I hit the “all slots to 276” achievement (aka 6/6 Heroic) on my main, I could use my saved up Hero Crests on some alts. That was late last week and now I have 5 alts at 272 and higher, nearly surpassing my main on the BDK. The Shaman has not seen a single M+ or raid higher than LFR and yet has only 1 slot missing to full 276 Heroic Gear.
