Not exactly sure why, but I randomly remembered Guild Wars 2 and that I hadn’t played in a while, so I logged in and was kinda hooked again.
It’s been a bit over 3 years and I am relearning things. And I already bought 2 expansions, as they were on sale – End of Dragons and Secrets of the Obscure. That means I am missing Janthir Wilds and then Visions of Eternity will come out in 3 weeks.
Right now I am focusing on my Guardian/Dragonhunter as I instantly died to everything on the Mesmer. There is a fun event that involves running lots of Fractals (something I had not done before at all) and you can earn some Legendary Gloves. We’ll see if I can make it. At some point they had revamped the daily login system and there’s now another currency with an extra shop, where you can buy stuff for your login/daily/weekly/etc points. It looks like I had logged in for like 100 days without doing anything in the last 3 years, but if you actively play you can easily earn 400 points in a day (not every day though, but 1000 per week seems fine) and you can buy neat stuff.
One main problem is bank space, as usual. But my current plan is buying the new expansion in the Ultimate edition again (like Heart of Thorns and Path of Fire), then I have 50 EUR worth of gems again (4000, and I still have 1000 /12 EUR) and maybe buy some bag slots or other nice stuff.
