Fifteen years

Oh wow, on October 18th, 2009 I made the first post at this blog (originally on wordpress dot com, before the move).

This is also a rare case of me pre-writing a post, so maybe I forget and it will auto publish after 2 months. You will notice because it only has 2 paragraphs. Anyway, 15 years, yay.

Just like at twelve years, here’s a post count per year:

• 2009: 12 posts
• 2010: 8 posts
• 2011: 0 posts
• 2012: 0 posts
• 2013: 5 posts
• 2014: 28 posts
• 2015: 43 posts
• 2016: 23 posts
• 2017: 24 posts
• 2018: 84 posts
• 2019: 96 posts
• 2020: 74 posts
• 2021: 98 posts
• 2022: 96 posts
• 2023: 50 posts
• 2024: 37 posts so far

Total: 678 posts, 45.2 per year (compare to 477 / 39.75 per year at 12 years)

Also we have a new best year, 2021 with 98 posts. Trends? No idea, but the pandemic certainly helped by not being outside so much, this has improved since 2023, but I don’t think it’s the only reason.

No changes planned, no future goals, we’ll see if I hit 20 years on this blog (25 overall won’t be hard), and thanks for reading.
